This time though – 1996, to be specific – the box logo is not the centerpiece of attention. Instead, Perez offers a masterful portrait of some certified New York OGs and Supreme affiliates – Peter Bici, Mike Hernandez, Chris Keefe, and the late Justin Pierce. The simple formula of vintage film and an iconic Kool & The Gang riff makes for an instant classic. Perez rolls through what looks like a freshly-paved Lafayette Street with his own crew, perfectly, profoundly capturing the beautiful freedom of skating in the city.
