Los Angeles native Patrick Martinez‘s solo exhibition at the New Image Art gallery is coming to a close, and we have a recap of what was shown at the event above. The much-acclaimed artist featured a wide range of work in his signature neon paintings, among his portfolio of installations, ceramics and paintings. Forbidden Fruit was his first solo exhibition in two years, and is aptly set in his native home state. His body of work takes from a very distinct LA-based cultural concept, while conveying various perspectives of the state’s minorities. Often colorful, his work is bright and full of personality.
