'Love & Mercy' Official Trailer

A trailer for the upcoming biographical film, Love & Mercy, has been released. The film documents the life of musician and songerwriter Brian Wilson, a member of the popular California ’60s band, the Beach Boys. The story is told in a parallel narrative which covers two time periods — the inception of the band in 1960s, and a time of troubles during the 1980s. Paul Dano will play Wilson during the earlier part of his life, while John Cusack will depict the musician in the ’80s. Directed by Academy Award-nominated director Bill Pohland, the conflicts of the movie will revolve around Wilson’s relationship with his second wife, Melinda, and the obstructions put between them by his psychotherapist Dr. Eugene Landy, played by Paul Giamatti.
