Previously, we’ve heard remixes of Alesso‘s hit single “Cool” from artists such as A-Trak, Sweater Beats and CRNKN. Now, another remix of the song by Chicago act Autograf has surfaced. This one is billed as taking its inspirational cues from the classic “french house” sound, with the trio adding that this rework represents a ”lil’twist on that good ole filter house sound.” Currently, it looks like “Cool” is Alesso’s song-of-the-moment, so we might hear even more remixes down the line. Alesso has earned a great deal of success in the past by promoting his own music with remixes by other artists, and that formula continues to be a fruitful one for the talented producer-DJ. You can check out the Autograf remix of “Cool” above, while Alesso’s debut album FOREVER will see release on May 26 via Def Jam/Virgin/EMI.
