Skateboarding is, in many ways, a game of fight or flight – you can either face your fears or pick up a longboard. Rather than fighting the overbearing force of mother nature though, a band of New York-based skaters fled the wintry Big Apple scene, opting instead for the Florida sunshine. Josh Stewart – creator of the cult classic Static video series – and his Theories of Atlantis contingency traced back through the Sunshine State from Tampa to Miami and beyond, capturing every sight along the way.
