Istituto Europeo di Design, better known as IED, is a Milanese design school that is upholding Italy’s reputation as a car manufacturing country, presenting the Syrma Concept Car. IED’s Syrma concept is a visually striking but streamlined and fluid vehicle, looking as luxurious as its specs entail. The innovative design features an interior of three staggered front seats with the driver’s seat in the middle. Under the hood is a hybrid engine with a V6 twin turbo, four-liter heat engine and an electric engine — when all combined, the result is an impressive 900 horsepower. While running on the electric engine, the car is completely silent. The concept car was created by 11 students as a part of their Masters thesis, unveiled at the 2015 International Geneva Motor Show.
