Donna Karen has unveiled her fashion label DKNY‘s 2015 fall/winter collection, jumpstarting New York Fashion Week. Solid monochrome looks flaunt a soothing, dark color palette for an overall mature aesthetic. The collection consists of turtlenecks layered underneath an assortment of blazer, sweater and jacket styles. Staple looks include a printed top over a turtleneck combination as seen with the pairing of a grey turtleneck, a linear black and white DKNY printed sleeved shirt, and a black slim cut blazer. Heavier options such as a navy blue outer jacket placed on top of an olive green bomber jacket, and grey turtleneck are quite suitable for the winter season. Signature pieces include a form-fitting buttoned blue and grey gradient coat, and an athletic zippered grey windbreaker. The looks are finished with a pair of cropped trousers of varying lengths, adding a grunge touch to the otherwise formal ensembles.
