As promised, Crystal Pepsi is back. Originally released in 1992, the clear soda looked to capitalize on the era’s marketing fad equating clarity with purity before swiftly disappearing from shelves the following year. Thanks to #BringBackCrystalPepsi, however — which was started by competitive eater Kevin Strahle, aka L.A. Beast, on Twitter earlier this year — the soda is back 23 years later for a limited time. No longer caffeine-free, the soda is being offered to loyal fans by way of a contest.
