Sia Shares a New Power Ballad "Bird Set Free"
Originally intended for Adele.
Announcing her seventh studio album, This Is Acting, earlier, Australian singer-songwriter Sia shares her latest power ballad “Bird Set Free.” Co-written and intended for Adele, “Bird Set Free” acts as the follow-up to “Alive” which was also written, alongside Tobias Jesso Jr., with and for Adele. With her new album set to feature a handful of songs that were also originally set for other artists like Beyoncé and Rihanna, Sia comments on the name of the album in relation, “I’m calling it This Is Acting because they are songs I was writing for other people, so I didn’t go in thinking, ‘This is something I would say.’ It’s more like play-acting. It’s fun.” This Is Acting is set for January 29 next year, in the meantime enjoy “Bird Set Free” above.
