If Crip-turned-A$AP-affiliate rapper Joey Fatts has his way, his movement and hometown of Long Beach are up next. The once-homeless emcee was living in fellow Cutthroat Boy Aston Matthews’ garage a couple years back, but ever since the release of the first volume of his Chipper Jones mixtape series he has been steadily rising and making moves. Fatts has the third edition of Chipper Jones just a month away from its release, and has dropped off the project’s first single to further bolster anticipation and give fans a taste of what’s to come. Entitled “Million $ Dreams,” the track once again unites Fatts with Cutthroat kin Vince Staples. On their new collaboration, both rappers set their sights forward yet take time to reflect on past strife, rapping about the futures they’re striving to obtain while still remaining mindful of all the troubles that they’ve faced and still continue to affect them.
