It’s comeback season for comedians it seems. After Dave Chappelle is blessing New York City with a set of live shows this week, Chris Rock announced his first stand-up tour in six years. Speaking to The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon, Rock stated that the trek will launch in October and is titled ‘The Black Plague Tour,’ per Kanye West’s suggestion.
“The other day we were hanging out, and he gave me that name. We were listening to records or whatever, and he said, ‘Black plague’, and I was like, ‘Can I use that?’”
The actor-comedian’s last album was 2005’s Never Scared, but appeared in films like 2013’s Grown Ups 2 and Madly Madagascar.
