For the second edition of Converse’s genre-mixing CONS series, the brand has united Vince Staples and Boston funk-rock quintet Bad Rabbits for the song “Made.” Juxtaposed over wailing, woozy funk melodies, Staples hard-as-concrete raps still place the rapper as someone “ready for war,” but the added instrumentation and vocoder-drowned trills from Bad Rabbits almost morph the track into a feel-good production crafted for Summer barbecues.
