T.I. - Turn Up

T.I. has nearly two decades of tenure in music, and the Hustle Gang boss continues to push out music regardless of trends and tribulations. Regardless of  legal issues and hip-hop’s always-changing dynamics, the 33-year-old continues to strive to be at the top of his craft. With his eleventh LP on the way, T.I. links up with trap-trailblazer and longtime collaborator DJ Toomp for “Turn Up,” and along with the new song comes a new Phillyflyboy-directed visual. The video for “Turn Up” fashions T.I. almost as a sort of trap-rap action hero, with the Atlanta rapper being surrounded by all the essential elements necessary for a grandiose cinematic experience. There’s torrents of explosive fire, all-black helicopters, and really thick bomber jackets. T.I.’s new album Paperwork is slated for release sometime this year.
