Four Tet & Martyn - Glassbeadgames (8 Hours at Fabric Dub)

After taking some time to unleash a torrent of music under his Percussions project, Kieran Hebden reprises his role as Four Tet for his new eight-minute collaboration with Martyn titled “Glassbeadgames.” On the new track both producers once again lean towards the left-field of electronic music with this coruscating cut of soulful psychedelia. The song is structured as though they’re making house or dub, but the chromatic, mind-bending sound of “Glassbeadgames” is far removed from the core of what modern house and dub sounds like. There’s many raves out there that could probably go on for days off of this type of music, no substance necessary.
