Flume & Chet Faker - Drop The Game (The Golden Pony Remix)

The Chet Faker-related music just keeps rolling in. In Pigeons and Planes’ recent piece on the “next big artists,” writer “Legend” selected Chet Faker as one of the site’s 14 picks, and with the Australian artist’s name constantly coming up wherever you click, it makes sense.

Seemingly every upcoming electronic talent with a Soundcloud is taking on Chet Faker’s music, and remixes from his new album Built on Glass will probably be rolling in until the year’s end, but this remix of Flume & Chet Faker’s “Drop The Game” by The Golden Pony is particularly noteworthy. The Brooklyn duo have given Flume & Faker’s collaboration a complete rework, turning it from a pop-esque, well-polished number into a tropical funk masterpiece.
