Los Angeles quartet Far East Movement have released the initial visual treatment for their most recent hit “The Illest,” and we’re happy to announce our exclusive premiere of the titanic single’s second video. Inspired by the riots that occurred in Koreatown over two decades ago, the video contains clips from the infamous 1992 incident and follows the group and their co-conspirators as they run around those same areas once effected by the riots. The tone of the video is far more jubilant though, and even boasts a cameo from the legendary Snoop Dogg. Track collaborator RiFF RaFF is also featured in the video, and dons a sparkling, diamond-encrusted trinket fashioned as a bottle of codeine & promethazine syrup. The single is available for purchase here.
