Kings of Sweden Recycled Jean Labels Carpet

Scandinavian design company Kings of Sweden has just released this recycled patchwork Jean Labels Carpet. The carpet itself features a number of different labels pulled from the ubiquitous leather logo patches seen on the backsides of denim. The idea behind the project is that “commonly discarded objects in Western industrialized nations can almost always be recycled and treated as material inspiration for artistic endeavors.” The carpet is available in two different sizes with the smaller version measuring 140 x 200 cm and the large version measuring 160 x 240 cm. The patchwork carpet is available for purchase through the Kings of Sweden online store for  €399 EUR (140 x 200 cm) and €545 EUR (160 x 240 cm).
