The moniker Stan Smith has been thrown around a lot lately, in relation to adidas‘ campaign ushering in his signature model sneaker. But for those of us who wish to know more about the man himself, adidas Skateboarding put together this video on some of the more legendary stories of his reputation. Testimony about Smith’s tennis days and skateboarding accomplishments are included from Mark Gonzales, Tim O’Connor, and even Stan himself, leaving a degree of uncertainty about telling the difference between fact and hyperbole when it comes to the California icon.
