Alex Burey - Inside World

Nineteen-year-old producer, songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist Alex Burey may still be in his teens, but the South Londoner has already dedicated 12 years to his craft. He started playing piano at age seven and producing not long after, quickly becoming an important figure in the music scene of his small town at only 11 years old. Today, Burey keeps busy pulling all-nighters in the studio he built at the end of his parents’ garden where he’s been working on his debut EP, Inside World, due out worldwide on January 26 via his own label, Pling Recordings. His second song release, which happens to be the EP’s title track, showcases Burey as a teenager with talent and vision ahead of his time, while still giving a sense of familiarity that could be attributed to influences such as Damon Albarn, Shuggy Otis, Pink Floyd, Aphex Twin and Andre 3000.
