To be specific, Wang recruited New York DJ Jesse Marco to curate the soundtrack for his forthcoming Tokyo pop-up shop. Dubbed “Urban Survival” in keeping with the store concept, the mix of bopping hip-hop, trap and electro is perpetually energetic without ever being monotonous. Classic cuts from Nas flow seamlessly into garage tracks, while contemporary anthems by A$AP Ferg and Drake accurately represent new popular music.
