Gosha Rubchinskiy x Vans Old Skool

Up-and-coming Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy has collaborated with Vans to produce his take on the classic Old Skool. Part of the designer’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection, which has been produced in collaboration with COMME des GARCONS, the shoe keeps things relatively simple with an all-black upper punctuated by the reflective sidestripe and the gum rubber sole. The upper is predominantly leather but features suede on the toe box and heel, and features contrasting white stitching throughout. Rounding out the details are a soft black leather lining and black laces with reflective detailing. You can find these, along with the rest of Rubchinskiy’s collection, at NUMBER 3.
