In its latest collaborative enterprise, Vans teams with socially responsible fashion brand Della to release a capsule collection consisting of footwear and matching accessories. Founded by Tina Tangalakis, Della is a Los Angeles-based label that employs more than 50 women in the developing villages of Ghana to create one-of-a-kind accessories from sustainable materials found within the West African region. With every purchase a large portion of the proceeds go to providing jobs, specialized training, weekly literacy classes, healthcare benefits and much more. Within the collection, the two brands will release six pairs of sneakers – two Sk8-His, two Eras and two Authentics – featuring colorful Della fabrics.
