BMW has just revealed the production version of the upcoming i8 hybrid sportscar. The i8 hybrid, only the second from BMW, is a striking two-plus-two, two door coupe with unique swan-wing doors. Powering the car is a 1.5 liter turbocharged engine paired with an electric motor for a combined 362 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque. The hybrid powertrain allows the i8 to do 0-62 mph in 4.4 seconds and also reach an estimated 94 miles per gallon. The i8 is set to go on sale next spring with prices starting at approximately $136,000 USD.
