Jaguar‘s most recent efforts have focused heavily on the concept of “Modern Britain.” The quintessential British automotive company has provided a reason for excitement through an elegant and considered approach to design and performance. Of the most recent examples was last year’s unveiling of the F-TYPE, a two-seater rear-wheel drive offering the utmost in driving experience and performance. To help tell the story of “Modern Britain,” we looked to food — an important pillar of culture in any society — to tell its contemporary story. Chef James Lowe of Young Turks took us on a ride through Britain in the F-TYPE in search of adventure and the freshest of local British ingredients, while providing insight on what comprises modern British cuisine. Utilizing the subsequent drive and experience with the F-TYPE as his inspiration, the result was a dish of Turbot, Gooseberries and Samphire that helped captivate what the efforts of Modern Britain truly entail. Jaguar is looking for people to get involved in their initiative and share their views on what represents a contemporary vision of Britain. This includes sharing a photo of what “Modern Britain” means to you with the hashtag #YourTurnBritain, culminating in the chance to win an unforgettable experience with the F-TYPE.
