The Bullitts – They Die By Dawn & Other Short Stories (Album Stream)

To be able to locate Jay Electronica long enough to do three songs is a feat in itself. Jeymes Samuel, known as The Bullitts, did more than that to create his debut album They Die By Dawn & Other Short Stories. Samuel explains “I’m not the type of person that releases a single and then releases an album. I release a western and then release an album.” Over the last few years, Samuel put together an all star cast of Rosario Dawson (Seven Pounds, Sin City), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Michael K. Williams (The Wire), Idris Elba (The Wire), Erykah Badu, Isaiah Washington (Grey’s Anatomy) and Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy), who agreed to do his short Western film for free on the merit of Samuel’s vision.
