In order to rise through the ranks of San Jose’s tight-knit skate scene, it takes hard work, a great push, and a thorough knowledge of ’80s pop music. Zack Wallin has proven he has every one of those qualities and more, with the 24-year-old earning a spot on legacy teams such as Enjoi, DVS and Bones in rapid succession. The amateur will now find another home alongside Daewon Song, Marc Johnson and Mike Anderson in Matix Clothing, with the California-based brand appointing Wallin a well-deserved place on its roster. This announcement has been cemented via a nice-sized clip from the company, which sees Wallin pushing through various cityscapes, sketchy ditches and rather large stair sets with his unique, powerful style. Enjoy the clip above.
