Lana Del Rey Teases Short Film 'Tropico'

Lana Del Rey is branching out from her music career, as she announced her acting involvement in an upcoming short film, called Tropico. The singer describes the project as “a tale of redemption told to the music of” “Body Electric”, “Gods and Monsters”, and “Bel Air.” Helmed by music video director Anthony Mandler and produced by Rick Rubin, the “30 minute film is coming to a city near you” and will also feature male model Shaun Ross. Premier dates will be announced shortly.
