adidas Originals Jeremy Scott 2013 Fall/Winter Footwear Collection
Since its introduction, the collaboration between adidas Originals and Jeremy Scott has continued
Since its introduction, the collaboration between adidas Originals and Jeremy Scott has continued to push boundaries in its segment of the footwear market in terms of themes, designs and color. Although these bold ventures with fashion designers are not for everyone — as voiced over the comment section regarding the Rick Owens and Raf Simons collections — these collaborations have spawned a sizable group of devout fans and have even put people on to designers they were not previously privy to. Even if one is never to cop a single item from this collection, it is always eye-opening to see what new elements are incorporated to this youthful joint effort. For the latest 2013 fall/winter footwear collection, we are shown three new versions to past models: the JS License Plate, a multicolor rendition using Miami as inspiration; the JS Wings 2.0, and rather than play with color, Scott gave the sneaker an early ’90s video game feel by pixelating the wings/logo; and last we have the JS Instinct Hi, where a metallic snake pattern can be seen throughout the upper. Retailing for ¥22,000-37,800 JPY (approximately $220-380 USD) the collection is available now at Styles.
