The Flaming Lips - You Lust (NSFW)

The Flaming Lips unleash the video for “You Lust,” off their latest album The Terror. While the album version runs at slightly over 13 minutes, the band has condensed the track down to the four-minute mark and truth be told, that may be as much as anyone can handle. Reminiscent of classic psychedelic scenes like the boat ride in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory or pretty much all of Darren Aronofsky’s debut film Pi, “You Lust” finds two subjects undergoing what can only be described as sexual shock treatment as three vixens look on. Perfectly suiting the already creepy vibe set in place by the Phantogram-assisted track, the video may leave you feeling slightly uncomfortable by the end. But at least there’s a monkey in there to lighten up the mood.
