Pacific Rim - Official Trailer

Around this time of the year many of us expect to see the blockbusters. You know: the record-setting, high-flying, sometimes-overhyped action films that draw consumers into theaters by the droves. You may have heard of Pacific Rim, but don’t count this film as a typical summer flick lacking solidity – especially when it was co-written and directed by Guillermo del Toro, and stars the award-winning Idris Elba. The science fiction film finds Earth taking a last stand against monsters residing deep in the ocean, using abandoned technology and two untrained pilots to lead the path to survival.
