The Prodigy – Firestarter (Death Grips Remix)

Last October was a resurgence for The Prodigy, when the legendary group reissued a deluxe version of their 1997 hit album The Fat of the Land that reminded everyone of their eminence back in the ’90s. With impressive remixes from Zeds Dead and Major Lazer, the project was deemed a success and garnered rave reviews all around. Today, Sactown’s own Death Grips look to join in as they weigh in with a remix to the group’s breakthrough hit “Firestarter.” More apocalyptic tones of blitzed drum beats and heavy synth-bass drops were used to enhance the track, making sure to stick close to the song’s dark aesthetic.
