Canadian retailer SSENSE brings a fantastically dark photo editorial for the new season, curating looks using the finest garb Spring/Summer 2013 has had to offer. Here we find choice designs by Rick Owens, Damir Doma, Givenchy and Alexander Wang highlighted, with the pieces conveying a kind of casual elegance as contextualized in an old theater. It would be hasty to call these predominantly black/white looks ‘dull’ though, as various textures – high gloss nylon, pleated leather and distinctly patterned cotton – make these pieces stand out.
