“The Golden Age” is the first track of Woodkid‘s brand new album of the same name – a song expounding the moment when one grows up and leaves home, i.e. signaling the end of “the golden age.” Predictably, this 14-track album is an ambitious projet d’art with the French musician–a beautiful perpetuation of his success with the first two singles “Iron” and “Run Boy Run,” which have already sold 300,000 copies worldwide. Featuring rich symphonic compositions and powerfully simple vocals, the album promises sleek high-def classical pop and more stunning abstract videos from the multidisciplinary hyper-talented 29-year-old. Watch his “Run Boy Run” video which was nominated for Best Short Form Music Video at the Grammy Awards, and check out this recent interview for more on Woodkid and listen to the album stream below.
