Comfortably positioned among the top universities of the world, Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Mellon

Comfortably positioned among the top universities of the world, Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Mellon University is often acknowledged for its academic achievements in computer science, finance, economics and engineering. However as the job market expands with unique yet viable career choices, so does the curriculum. Initially launched in 2008, CMU’s Sneakerology 101 course launched its Invigorate Your Sole lectures series this past Monday with guest speaker James Whitner, a Pittsburgh native and founder of renowned sneaker store Social Status. The annual series will continue on March 18 with founder and designer Ben Smith of Brush Footwear, and finishing on March 24 with industry celebrity Ronnie Fieg of Kith NYC.
