Initially presented at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Stockholm this past week, Swedish label Whyred has officially unveiled the runway imagery from its Fall/Winter 2013 presentation. Drawing inspiration from English rock band New Order, the label manages to bring a balance of gender ambiguity to its menswear range through unconventional, close-fitting cuts while simultaneously affording each design a distinctly masculine appeal. Continuing the trend that sees traditional sartorial staples interspersed with street influences, the collection sees offbeat blazers alongside double-riders jackets and neutral-colored slacks next to terrain-inspired camouflage and all-over print patterns. The finished collection embodies a wholly cohesive range of eccentric tailoring with extremely wearable garments.
