Supplementing our initial preview of Hood By Air’s 2013 fall/winter collection, we present the entire runway showing in video form. Live from Milk Studios’ New York location during NYFW, the luxury-street designer label presented a range that’s touted to be a breakout moment in its young, emerging history. Starting as an independent graphic T-shirt brand, 24-year-old Founder and FIT-dropout Shayne Oliver has transformed his brainchild to a very modern designer label with the right amount of edge to appeal to the younger audience’s growing appreciation for high-end ready-to-wear clothing infused with streetwear influences. “The concept is all about finding new ways of going through the darkness,” Oliver explained of his fall collection. “It’s inspired by prophets and fetishists, people who push boundaries.” In the above video we get a look at the forthcoming collection through a dimly-lit runway — lasers and smoke added for effect. Best of all, style aficionado A$AP Rocky makes an appearance sporting a neoprene zip-up and his all-too-famous swag.
