BMW Motorrad — BMW‘s motorcycle division — has debuted its latest storming crotch rocket: the BMW S1000R. A stripped-down version of the BMW S1000RR, the S1000R features exposed bodywork and aggressive styling throughout. Whereas its big brother the S1000RR features a 193 horsepower engine, the S1000R features a slightly less powerful, albeit still fast, 163 horsepower engine along with several performance-minded features like Automatic Stability Control, Race ABS and several different ride modes. No word on pricing yet but the BMW S1000R should start shipping out sometime next year.
