Obsessed with the iconic outerwear designs of the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s, Mt. Rainier Design has returned to its favorite material – a 60/40 cotton/polyester blend – for a Fall/Winter 2013 range to fend off the elements. Used across parkas and bags, the material even provides a hit of contrast to retro Nordic knits. This season’s drops also include inventive takes on brand staples like the Hunting Mountain Parka and Windshed Zip Jacket – done up in full corduroy and a dense nylon weave, respectively – as well as knitted beanies. Mt. Rainier Design’s latest pieces are now available via End in the UK.
