Having made its deput back in April via the Yes Guess EP, Anushka — consisting of Max Wheeler and Victoria port — took the radio  with club-friendly hits that merged soulful vocals with bold bass-led samples. Having done the European festival circuit, the duo return with a dark juggernaut titled “The Constant.” The result is a dramatic deliverance, with Port’s emotive vocals fluttering over Wheeler’s unyielding synth line, before the build-up is met with a boisterous crash. Anushka is set to release a full length via Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Recordings, with single “Never Can Decide” due to drop soon.
