After teasing the car last week, McLaren have finally unveiled the new P1, a design study and possible indication of what direction the firm might take with the successor to their F1. Set for an official debut at the Paris Motor Show, the concept is done up in a searing orange paint job which perfectly highlights the sculpted new bodywork. No word on technical specifications but McLaren boss Ron Dennis has said that the car aims to be “the quickest and most rewarding series production road car on a circuit.” Expect a production model to make an appearance as we get closer to 2014.
