WTAPS 2012 Fall/Winter Lifestyle Items Collection

In preparation for the upcoming launch of the 2012 fall/winter YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE collection from WTAPS, lead designer TET has teamed up with design companies GEOGRAPH and Sallies to produce a small range of interior pieces. Both items, a storage box and school chair have been designed to be stackable – an advantageous trait given that space is a premium in most Japanese cities. The storage box comes in an olive color scheme and is constructed from a lightweight alloy, whilst the chair features a wooden seat with steel frame. Each gives off a subtle retro-military feel that fits in perfectly with the WTAPS approach. Expect to see the WTAPS x GEOGRAPH storage box and the WTAPS x Sallies school chair to release next month with a retail price of ¥27,300 JPY (approximately $348 USD) and ¥22,050 JPY (approximately $281 USD) respectively.
