TAKAHIROMIYASHITA TheSoloIst. 2012 Fall/Winter Collection

Having previewed his layer-extensive 2012 fall/winter collection here, experimental designer Takahiro Miyashita makes way for the first drop to TAKAHIROMIYASHITA TheSoloIst.‘s wintery range with three pieces featured above. This introductory release starts with a fitted zip cardigan that boasts four front pockets made with a unique weaving method to provide a durable build. Continuing down the line we’re presented with a vibrantly orange-colored knit sweater with a relaxed fit and buttoned slits at the base. Lastly, Takahiro Miyashita offers a contemporary take on the leather vest as details include a 90% white goose down and 10% feather construction, nylon and deerskin leather. All of which provides comfort whilst protecting its user from extreme weather conditions. This inaugural release is currently available at select retailers with both the cardigan and knit sweater retailing for ¥51,450 JPY (approximately $655 USD), while the leather vest comes with a price tag of ¥93,450 JPY (approximately $1,190 USD).
