As you should know by now, M.I.A. is busy working on her fourth studio album, Matangi. Accordingly, the London native has unveiled a fair amount of details regarding this project by sending out a number tweets earlier today. It appears that the record will be released in December, along with an autobiographical book, documentary and art exhibition. In addition, she revealed that there won’t be any collaborations and that only producers “that don’t act like fame whore coloniser” will participate in the project. Regarding the LP’s genre, she stated that it will sound like “paul simon on acid” and added, “no one in the industry collected blows in the last 3 years as much as me, this is a fuck you to them and a thank you to you.” To conclude this series of information, M.I.A. also shared a cryptic partial tracklist which you can check out here.
