After Instagram was introduced to Android users earlier this year before its subsequent $1 billion USD sale to Facebook, the latest version of the free photo-sharing app has now become available. Faster and more streamlined than ever before, the app now includes infinite scrolling, longer caption edits and, most notably, new Photo Maps. Appropriately enough, Photo Maps now allows users to see geotagged photos over an underlaying map – thus providing a more obvious look at the location of the imagery in one’s feed. Instagram 3.0 is now available for both iPhone, iPad and Android smartphones.
