Vice Magazine publication Noisey produces a web series called Back & Forth, which checks in with some of the most current artists and issues of the music industry. Most recently, Noisey sent rapper Danny Brown to the 13th annual Gathering of the Juggalos music festival at Cave-in-Rock in Illinois to chat with Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope — the personas of horror hip-hop group Insane Clown Posse. While The Gathering is a subject warranting its own analysis entirely, we’ll try just to focus on Brown’s interview with ICP wherein the three chat candidly about ICP’s lawsuit against the FBI, the waves of recent success that Brown is enjoying, along with what it feels like to be transformed into an action figure. In addition to the interview, Noisey spent a fair amount of time with its camera crew soaking in the atmosphere (most likely Faygo) of The Gathering. Check out the trailer to see what went down here.
