June 21 was the official “Go Skateboarding Day,” and hopefully you had a chance to get the board out hit the streets. To continue the celebration, the Waiting for Lightning production team have released this preview clip containing interviews from their forthcoming skate documentary of the same name, following the exploits and career of pro skater Danny Way. In this preview, we hear some of skateboarding’s biggest names like Rob Dyrdek, Christian Hosoi, Mike Blabac and Bob Burnquist describe the allure that initially drew them to skateboarding as youngsters. For Bucky Lasek, it was as simple as getting his bicycle stolen to turn him to skating.
