As part of a major Middle Eastern push by British automakers, Abu Dhabi is getting a spiffy new factory McLaren dealership. To celebrate, McLaren has published “The Perfect Line” — a video of their race-ready MP4-12C supercar blasting the nearby dune circuit at Yas Marina. The 592 horsepower, 3.8L V8 12C was built for exotic circuits like this, going from zero to 60 in 3.3 seconds, before maxing out at 205 mph. The beautiful cinematography is due in part to the video cameras by RED Cinema and Canon (reportedly their new 1D X), although having the throaty 12C outrunning even the panoramic chase helicopter shots doesn’t hurt either.
