Creative director Tomas Maier, collaboratively aided by fellow designer Sam Shahid and many of today’s leading fashion journalists, presents a first monograph expounding the eminent Bottega Veneta brand. Since its inception in 1966 in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy, the luxury brand (Bottega Veneta means “Venetian atelier”) has produced some of the finest artisanal leather goods available to man. Famed for its signature intrecciato leather-weave, the design house is also known for its logo-shunning tagline “When your own initials are enough.” The book includes a foreword by director and Vanity Fair correspondent Matt Tyrnauer, as well as contributions by Kate Betts, Joan Juliet Buck and Ingrid Sischy.
