Brazilian-born Italo Romano lived a normal life until the age of 13 when a train accident left him a double-amputee. Following the accident, his undying resolve and positive outlook on life led him to skateboarding, where he has flourished in a sport usually reserved for bipedal dependance. Check out an edit of the inspiring footage of Romano’s incredible style and flow that earned him a trip to the semi-finals at last week’s Tampa Pro invitational in a stacked field that contained names like Huston, Sheckler, Koston, Romero and Pudwill.
