The synergy between formal tailoring and sportswear served as the expertly translated design language of the Shipley & Halmos Fall/Winter 2012 collection. While remaining truthful to its philosophies of individualism and modern classicism, the collection explores themes of nostalgia and cold weather retreats inspired by the design duo’s annual trip to Colorado. A range of outerwear styles serve as the foundation for each look, which are normally typified by bold and warm hues. The collection also sees an assortment of accessories and footwear with the presence of two hiking boot styles, and a collaborative fedora hat in conjunction with CFDA/Vogue Fashion Award-winning milliner Albertus Swanepoel.
